Loud, Obnoxious and looks like tons of fun?

I'm a fan of loud, fast and crazy.

The stunt at 5:40 made my day.

That raises a number of questions:

    1. How did they clear that much of San Francisco of traffic to film this?

    2. Who paid to destroy those tires?

    3. What goshawful stuff is that bike rider gonna be coughing up for the next week?

    4. How many runthroughs did that take? We can tell from the rubber already on the street this is not the first runthrough!

    1) When I lived in El Lay, a film company would close down parts of town/roads to film movies/stunts/music videos, the shooting on the smaller streets was done in a day or two, the bridge shots were probably done in a span of two, three hours? This video was done over the course of a week or two, so there really wasn't any problem with traffic, the city probably passed out fliers, posted signs, etc. in the areas.

    2) Tire companies would kill to have a mention on the car or someplace in the video.

    3) The biker is Travis Pastrana. He's also an extreme motorsports driver/racer. He's currently trying his hand in NASCAR and probably has 'inhaled' more that a few radials?

    4) I am sure the runthroughs were done to make sure the stunt was safe for the driver and the buildings/area. You can count the skid marks and figure about 3-4 times per stunt?

The film company has to take out insurance - the film company also pays for security, cleanup and other incidentals. Each city has a film commission that has to approve any street closings, film locations and other details.

Wow! I'm exhausted. I kept wondering if the little car would explode from all the activity. Inside the car, I guess one stick was the gear stick and then he often would use the tall white stick. Was that a brake? Often after using white stick, car would go sideways. Actually he/the car went sideways a lot during the video.

    What a waste of time

I didn't get past 2 minutes. What a huge waste of time and materials.
