    Balloons and cats

are balloons safe for a cat to play with? Rocky is this huge interest in my yougest dd's balloon that we got from the bank yesterday...I am afraid the popping sound would terrify him if he ends up popping it....would you all let your kitties play with them?

No, not rubber balloons. When we have balloons here, we use the mylar ones -- much tougher to pop, and no choking danger once they do pop/dwindle down.

    Good luck.
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)
