Hello, Angel! You look very comfortable on the sofa! Barkeep, I have to be at church early for Palm Sunday- two services. May I have coffee, please? (Maybe I should be drinking "Caf Pow" like on NCIS!)

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

Tell you what, I'll brew up some good coffee, and we have banana bread just made that I'll slice up and leave out on the bar. In the meantime, I have to go play with a pup who had a no-accident night.

Is Angel ready for her first 10km run? Be heading out in about an hour. We'll both need a tall glass of water on our return barkeep!

The absolute best part of a new puppy?

    The training of he hoomans.

    --------------

One trick that my mom taught me about puppies and baby potty/training?

Upon waking up, both will want to go to the BR!

It took me a while to figure out it was easier to put the dog outside than it was to diaper them....

    HI Angel........Let's go exploring.

    This is the ORC......

    ------------

Coffee, tea and some real butter for the 'naner bread....

    DONE!

What a sweet looking pup! This weekend I tried some new wine: BattleAxe Malbec 2011 from Argentina. Yum! I like trying wines with unusual names.

Well, remember, the younger hoomans in the house have been trained by Lady - she was there before they were born!

Yep, the young hoomans have been trained by Lady, so Angel is going to have a tough time training them.

As far as energy goes, Angel had a 1 mile walk yesterday morning, and she was still a ball of energy, so we might be taking you up on that 10K offer, QoP.

In the meantime, there's tea and chinese at the bar, I'm just going to sit on the couch and guard my ears against a certain rambunctious ear nibbler.

Angel is adorable! And she is a PUPPY? She is gonna be a BIG girl!

Thanks for rescuing this sweetie from the shelter!

Just a good ol' coffee for me with cream. I brought a packet of Xylitol, best sweetener yet! A sugar taken from...hardwood!

There is some debate as to her age, she may or may not be full grown at this point. But regardless, in our family, we tend to call dogs "pup" no matter how old or big they get!

    Angel you are beautiful!

Welcome to the family of Pet Talk. You had no idea did you Angel, that you have so many aunts, uncles, and cousins - who all love you to bits. It will be fun to watch you grow up! Be gentle on those ears now!

ORC - no you do not have to train Angel!!

I'm game to take her any time. Long Easter weekend so I'm planning on doing 20K, maybe that'll tire out the little sweetheart!

I used to enjoy running, several ankle and back injuries ago...
