SEATTLE, WA: Two diabetic cats in need
CONTACT: Erin Baker, [email protected]
I'm hoping you can help me. My mother has had a health crisis, and she now urgently needs to move to assisted living. She has two older cats (around 12 years) that are both diabetic and require regular insulin shots. She can't take them with her. Their names are Cleo and Pumpkin, and they are both just wonderful. To my knowledge their insulin is well calibrated and the diabetes is controlled.
Mom lives in Seattle, but somehow or other we could get the cats anywhere in Washington, Oregon, or Northern California if we can find someplace for the m to go. I've gotten a lot of sympathy and not much else from the rescues and shelters around Seattle. I understand that they're older and the injections are an obstacle, but I would appreciate any information or assistance you could render.
Thanks,
Erin Baker
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
