    Sounds balmy, even!

Earlier today it was 33°F ( +1C) - a smidge above freezing!!! Last time it will do that for a week, according to my forecast!

I wonder how many tunnels critters will have dug in our snowbank before it finally melts! We now have two bunny ones and a squirrel one!

It is 17°F(-7C) today, so no melting now!

Still nippy here today - it looked much warmer out than it was, for sure! It got all the way up to 25°F(-4) but is now back down to 19°(-9C) with the potential to drop to zero or below tonight!

    March begins softly
    The hush of evening snowfall
    Blankets grey snowbanks

    "It’s just touch-up snow,"
    I tell anyone who is
    Glum, “Makes it look clean.”

    Still my heart is glad
Snow falls and my spirits rise
    Yes, even in March

Currently 25°F (-4C) and the projected total has been updated from "little to no accumulation" to 2"-4" overnight.

Not quite so harshly cold tonight. It is midnight and still 15F out. I got home from church and grocery shopping about 8 and it didn't feel as bitterly cold as the past several days.

It was up to 34°F today, which meant melting - puddles everywhere! I got gas standing in a puddle, but there was still large snowpile it was from, so it's not like they could have mopped it up or anything!

Back down in the twenties and dropping down to an expected 9°F tonight, but the big messy day will probably be Wednesday, when it is supposed to be 42 degrees and raining!

That's what is headed our way, this evening into tomorrow, though it is now just 28°F here, and dropping, so we will see if the projected temperature rise happens that will change the snow to sleet ....

We're having a heat wave! 34F (+1 C)! Seriously, it doesn't feel so harshly cold out today. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow but not as warm, then back in the 30s again over the weekend - which is good because I'd really like to take my grimy car to the car wash.

Our weather in central NC is crazy up & down. Yesterday it was 38 high, today's high was 70 (normal would be 55), tomorrow 45 & dropping temps and tomorrow night we could have a freezing mix (sleet, fr rain, snow). Friday it is supposed to be in the 50's which is normal for here this time of year. Today's 70 felt so good!!
