    Flowers for the boys

Every year at Christmas when Sherbie was still with us, I would put a Christmas decoration on his outside shelter - "The Little Red Cat House" that I made for him after his buddy O.C. passed.

Today I was in the dollar store picking up baby diapers (Um - I mean panties ) for Myndi since I now have to keep them on her at night and when I leave the house for more than a couple of hours. Anyway, I walked past some holiday decorations and flowers, and the thought hit me that I should maybe put something holiday-ish on the grave. So I picked up a couple of flowers and stuck them in the ground at the head of the marker. When O.C. passed back in 2008, he was cremated, and I chose to bury his cremains with Sherbie when he passed last June. Together forever now!

Here's a pic - I don't think I ever posted one of the marker after my son completed it. Anyway - just had to share a little of sentimental, softy me!

Merry Christmas, Sherbie & O.C. We love and miss you - the orange partners in crime.

    Lovely. Thank you.

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
