VAIL IS VERY ILL AND LOST PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE NEEDS HELP PLEASE

Shelter sent her out with Doxy but her uri was not responding. She has an extremely high WBC. We are waiting for results from a Toxo test. In the mean time she is getting IV and supportive care.
She is not positive. She through a couple things out. Toxoplasmosis is one. We are waiting on test results. She also has started her on Clindamycin which is used to treat it if its positive. She also put out dry FIP as a possibility. Or an infection in the spinal cord or brain. CH has not been ruled out. Because the WBC count was so high she was not sure if the neuro symptoms could be related to the infection or not.

THIS WAS VAIL'S SHELTER DESCRIPTION WHEN SHE WAS ON THE URGENT LIST AT BROOKLYN SHELTER:

Vail was saved by Lost Paws Animal Rescue
AC&C, NYC - Brooklyn Center

Vail has nerve damage, or perhaps CH! Please consider pulling from BACC!

Our vets believe this kitty has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, but her condition could potentially stem from nerve damage in her hind end. She's pretty ataxic, and she does not appear to be using her litter box. That said, she is extremely friendly and affectionate! She's always purring and makes "muffins" if you give her even the slightest attention!! Please consider this little lady!!!
