The surviving Box Babies turn 1 week old today! They are all doing well (one has even started trying to open his eyes!), and are leaving the hospital tomorrow to go to a foster mom.

Their vet bill is estimated at $1500, which is good considering the round the clock care they have had. They are not out of the woods yet, as tiny kittens who are exposed to cold can still crash for several more weeks. But we are hopeful that the extra time at the vet has given them the best chance at survival.

However, we have only raised a fraction of the money we need to pay this bill! Please network to everyone you know, in the hopes that more kindhearted people will be able to help.

Thank you, and please see their latest picture (taken last Sunday), to see where your donations are going!

Subject: Donations Desperately Needed for Newborn Kittens!

Help! Kitt Crusaders desperately needs donations for 3 surviving kittens who were dumped at the South LA Shelter, just hours after birth.

Once we got them, they were rushed to the emergency vet, where they have been for the past 2 days. Their body temperatures were only 90 degrees, which can be lethal for kittens.

One kitten died, and the others are making slow progress, but will be in danger of crashing for quite a while.

Their best chance at survival now is with the vet, and as soon as they are stable, we will move them to a foster home. In the meantime, the vet bill will come in around $1000.

Please help if you can!
