Please keep my Grandma kitty in your thoughts and prayers

I'm taking her in for a check up in the morning. I noticed last night she was spending quite a while in her litter box squating like she had to pee. Then later she peed like normal. She just did that again. So I called the vet and I will take her in and leave her in the morning so they can get a sample to check. She is at least 17 years old, maybe older so I'm afraid it might be her kidneys.

Please keep us both in your thoughts.

Many prayers and strengthening, healing energies are being sent for Grandma and for you too, Donna.

Connie, I knew there was a special reason I was drawn to Pet Talk this evening.
It led me directly to your thread. You have my extra special prayers and a candle
for you and for Grandma. How I pray that she will be well.

Definitely keeping Grandma in my thoughts today.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Grandma is at the vets. They told me it would be this afternoon before they knew anything and not to be surprised if they need to keep her overnight. I guess right now that is where she needs to be but it was sure hard leaving her. I am just so afraid it's her kidneys.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

    Wonderful news

    The vet just called.
they can not find anything wrong with grandma. No infections; all her blood work is normal. Even her kidneys are in good shape for her age. No sign of thyroid problems or bladder cancer or anything.

The vet thinks maybe she is having a bit of dementia and forgets what she is doing when she pauses in the box like that.

I'm going to go get her at one this afternoon.
Thank you so much for the prayers.
She is one special girl. Even the vet is in love with her.

I personally would not have made it through this without you all!!!
