    Sydney

    My dearest Sydney went to the Rainbow Bridge today. Kidney failure finally got the best of him.

    Rest in peace, my beloved boy. I'll join you again, forever, at the Rainbow Bridge.. One Fine Day.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your Sydney's passing. He's playing at the Bridge now. RIP, Sydney!

    Back when Poppy first came, she was just a baby kitten. She clearly needed an adult cat to be her mentor in learning the Ways of the Cat. Sydney took on this responsibility and became not only Poppy's mentor but also her big brother.

    Their kinship continued throughout his life. I just came across this photograph which captures their closeness and affection:

    Something I especially like about this picture is that the two of them cuddled up together form a heart shape!
