Thank you Edwina for starting this thread... Fister would have liked to share the day with you and Eddie under the cupboard. Yes, as soon my guests came he was gone. While the first ones left (I went down with them), he had a little litterbox break, and my sister and BIL came. I had made an rhubarb crumble and the famous layered cake (Womania), which we all enjoyed. We also went for a walk at the cemetary to give Fister another break. All in all a nice day - however, I feel a lot fresher today.

Thank you all for your birthday wishes.

You can see a picture of the cake here: http://www.arla.dk/opskrifter/Opskrifter/W/Womaniakage/

I cannot even use the excuse that the power went off. And poor Moff's was out which is awful. I just completely missed Randi's birthday. Then I saw it in my calendar book (remind me to start using it!!) and I felt just terrible.. So I sent her a private email.

But heck - why not celebrate some more Randi - I hope you are having a great birthday week!

Gini, as I said... no problem. I HAVE been celebrating for several days, there was some cake left - did you see the picture of it? In fact, I just finished it today - and in your honor, I'm having a glass wine, too.

One of these days I'll get some pics of Fister on the computer, so you can all enjoy him.

    Thanks again everyone!

Oops, I've been AWOL and missed this thread. Do please continue to celebrate so that I can join in, here, too.
