Subject: ******URGENT******PLEASE HELP SAVE NUTLEY CATS!

The Township of Montclair, which handles animal control services for
Nutley, has been ordered to immediately trap and remove an entire
colony of approximately 15 cats. Montclair has been there daily all
this week and to-date has trapped 6 cats.

Although the majority of the cats have been TNRd by Montclair over the
past couple of years, the neighbors have been complaining about them
being all over the neighborhood and on their properties. Humane
products were offered to help deter the cats from going on their lawns
but unfortunately this has not worked. They will not be satisfied
until all of the cats have been removed!!

The trapped cats are being held and evaluated at the Montclair
shelter. If friendly, they will be put up for adoption. Placement will
need to be found for unfriendly ones!

While relocation of free-roaming cats is not ideal, there are not many
other options under these circumstances.

Please contact Mona at 917.476.1746 for more information and/or if you
are able to assist with placement of one or more cats.

Thank you.
