I will figure out how to get the money out of my Paypal account and return it to everyone. I don't feel right using it if there is no longer an emergency.
I'm so glad to hear that Ming is still doing well. Feeding him canned food is a great idea. If I were you, I'd still see the specialist to at least talk about other options Ming may have other than surgery. You certainly don't want to wait until he becomes blocked again and then you don't have the time to try the other options. I would also hold onto the money for a while. It hasn't even been 2 weeks yet and your vet said that he could still block at any time. I hope he'll never block again but unfortunately a cat like Ming probably will at some point. Please look into the other options while he's doing well. Lots more prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.

Glad to hear that Ming is hanging in there

Wow, so nice to hear that Ming is still doing nicely. I agree, that you should hang on to the money for quite some time. Because, if it happens, you'll need to get him to the vet asap. I, too, would look at different options. I have not heard of options, but hey, things change daily and maybe they have a shorter, easier method figured out.

Hugs to Ming. Hugs to you. See, sometimes things work out!

    XOXOXO

    P. S. Whatever money I sent, is yours and Ming's, it is a gift. I trust you will spend it for Ming's medical bills. I am sure you have quite a bill from his initial visit. I love Ming, from afar!!!

Okay guys, I will talk to the vet this week and see what's up.hink I have enough for a vet visit and a consultation What I will do from there depends on what his prices are. I was contacting Paypal yesterday to see how to get a check mailed to me so I could give you guys your money back, but I will just wait and see. It's funny, I've always fed both wet and dry (both healthy brands) and Ming ate both and went YEARS without a blockage. I change brands of dry (not to an unhealthy brand, just a notch below Wilderness) and he blocks. Now he won't touch dry. He ate about 10 small pieces of Wilderness yesterday, but continues to prefer wet. He needed to lose weight, he actually waddled when he walked, and he has lost enough to wear he looks much healthier and no longer waddles. So, I'm leaving well enough alone and not pushing him to eat dry for now.
Proud to be a crazy cat lady!

I think that this is a great idea. I've heard that cats that are overweight tend to have urinary problems. My RB Storm was never overweight though. I hope that things continue to go well for Ming.
