Ming is so much better now, he ate 2 breakfasts!

Ming is uot of hiding, eating (boy is he eating!), peeing, and drinking. I am going to wait a few days, and if he stays healthy and the vet doesn't recommend further trestment, I will be reimbursing everyone who sent me money.
    Ming says "Thank you!"

YOU GO, MING BOY!!! YOU ROCK!

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Tonight he flooded the litterbox with pee and begged for an early dinner. HE'S BACK! Thank you all for your prayers and donations. I will talk to my vet tomorrow and will most likely return all the money, once I figure out how.

Ming is doing well, but seems to be suffering from a little urinary incontinence. It's a better situation than a blockage, but it's still something I want to talk to the vet about. Has anyone has a male cat become incontinent after catheterization?

I'm so glad to hear that he's eating and peeing well. No, I've never had a cat that had urinary incontinence. I was told that this will some times happen after the PU surgery if it isn't done correctly. Hopefully this won't last and it can be easily treated. Good luck.

He seems better about that this morning. I think it was because he was cathed for 5 days and his urinary tract got used to the cath doing all the work. It's improving. Ming still has a ways to go,he's just not himself yet, but he's getting there.

He's doing very well. Funny thing is, he no longer wants to eat dry, only wet. I suppose that's good in a cat that suffers from chronic FLUTD. I talked to my vet and she really wants me to see the specialist, but Ming is doing so well that I don't want to use any of you people's generous donations for him. I will figure out how to get the money out of my Paypal account and return it to everyone. I don't feel right using it if there is no longer an emergency.

Hang on to the money for about a month. Ming may well continue to do excellently but give it some time just in case. What is your vet's idea behind seeing the specialist? Is it just to double check on whether surgery will be an option in the future? It might be a good precaution. Just sayin'.

Glad Ming is still doing so well!
