    All shook up Thursday #494..

I thought a little Hound Dog and some peanut butter banana sandwiches would be appropriate for today.

Gosh, hard to believe that Elvis has been gone for 35 years....or is he hiding out in the Lost and Found in the back.

I think I'll take the Orc in there and look around.....Here's a Pepsi (the drink of Elvis) while you all wait...

    DONE?

"Caught in a trap - I can't walk out..because I love you too much, baby." - yes, I was listening to him at lunch.

I think in his neck of the woods a sweet tea would be appropriate.

I LOVE peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but not fried like Elvis did. And Pepsi's my choice of soft drinks too.

So in honor of The Big E - I'll have a helping of the above. Anyone care to join me and reminisce about days gone by?

I remember the day he passed - we were on a camping trip in PA - and heard it on a transistor radio ( remember those?) while laying on the beach at a lake.

Also, Madonna is 54 years old today.

I'll have a plain peanut butter sandwich with a margarita Like A Virgin!

    In my best Elvis voice...

A sweet tea for the little lady....done?

    Pom,

A PB and Naner sandwich and a Pepsi?
    DONE.

    RE Transistor radios?

I was looking for a small AM/FM radio to listen to talk shows and music.

I could only find an FM model. That radio was destroyed in an accident so I went looking for something similar?

    It's all that download/Apple/iPod crap.

    Ugh.....

    C!,

    A Pb and Virgin margarita....

    Done...

    No sign of Elvis, yet.....

In honor of the day, I have to relate a story...

My husband and I have camped our whole life together; many years of which have been with a large group of friends. This group is not a tea-totalling (sp?) group, and at times can be ... interesting. One particular trip, I had enough and went to bed (at this point in a pop-up, not a tent), but my husband and his buddies stayed up, which was fine with me. About 3AM, I was awakened by my husband in the pop up yelling 'Honey! I saw Elvis!!' Ever since it's been a comedic point.

RIP Elvis - you were one in a million!

    PM,

Yep, Elvis sometimes hides in a bottle.....

    Walkin' like a millionaire
    Smilin' like a king
He leaned his shopping cart against the wall
He said, "I been a lot of places
And I seen a lot of things
But, sonny, I seen one thing that beats 'em all
I was flyin' back from Lubbock
I saw Jesus on the plane
    ...or maybe it was Elvis
You know, they kinda look the same
