All Sport Dog With A Medicine Problem

My dog is a boxer-great dane mix. He loves to play basketball, soccer, frisbee, and baseball. The problem is that Mossy HATES closed containers. See as though he is part great dane, we cannot keep him out of reach of my medicine containers. I have tried locking them up, but he manages to get in to the cabniet or wherever the containers are. So far he has eaten 2 hughe chocolate cakes, 8 roach traps, 2 boxes of rat poision, and some of my sleeping pills. Needless to say he slept for 2 days straight. He is about a year and a half old, and i jsut can't seem to keep him out of these things. He is a great dog, i am just worried that his luck is going to run our. The vet also doesn't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

My suggestion - a little locked box for your medicine, you can keep the key in the lock if you are afraid to lose it, but you can get a small metal box that he won't be able to open. Or keep them on top of the refrigerator, way in the middle if you are tall enough!
