    Decoration Day

Here are some Geraniums we put at the gravestone of Mom's parents(my grandparents)yesterday at Orono Cemetery in Orono where Mom was born.Every year, they have a decoration day where people put flowers at grave sites of family members,it is usually on a Sunday but we had church today so did it yesterday.

    Nice, Barry.

I wish I lived close enough to my parents resting place so that I could visit occasionally, but I'm in DE and they are in RI. Don't know that I will ever make it back up there, and I'm moving to NC soon, so that will even widen the gap.

And Decoration Day is the original old name for Memorial Day here in the U.S.

Looks good, Barry! Colorful and cheerful!

The cemetery where my grandparents are buried allows only artificial flowers. You aren't supposed to place items directly into the ground, other than a flag.
