Dis Dog is STRANGE! Part 2!

Some of you may remember the first video with this thread title - Willy goes into Dad's vegetable garden and picks himself a huge, ripe red tomato, which he proceeds to eat!

Willy has done it again, he continues to amaze. We had some watermelon over the weekend. The rind still had some red melon on it, and some watermelon water / juice, so I put it down on the kitchen floor for the pups to lick. Naturally Willy arrived first. :sneaky: When Tasha attempted to join him, he'd already had a taste and decided this was too good to share - so he picked it up and carried it onto my recliner!

Wish I'd had the camera as he carried it, he was quite careful to carry it boat side up so nothing spilled! Then, this:

He had quite the feast, and there was not one speck of red melon left when he was done!

NOTE: Here is Part 1, for anyone who wants to remember that event: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...ht=dis+strange

That's too cute. That Willy boy is quite a slick one, isn't he? Sparky likes melon, but only when I cut it off the rind in little pieces and hand it to him.

I stayed a few minutes and watched the Sugar/Marlin memorial video again too. LES!

Many dogs love watermelon rind, and will chomp the whole thing! Our dogs growing up did, that and loved corn cobs, too. I'l never forget Kimmy(Ramanth)'s surprise when I asked if I could give Chipper one at a findlay gathering, and he scarfed int down in about a minute flat!

This is just so cute! I never knew dogs like watermelon. The video is priceless. He sure was enjoying himself. Love the part where he looked at the camera and chomp, chomp, chomped a bite.

Uhmmm... Wills... I think the goal was that you, Lacey a nd Tasha would all enjoy some melon. But, hey, it's proof of what I already know - Willy, you are smart!

Oh bless him, great thing is he likes fruits..
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. ~Edward Hoagland

haha, good job Willy Nothing like some good watermelon on a hot day.
My boy doesn't like watermelon maybe because it has the dreaded word water in it?? He hates water. The sprinklers are his worst enemy.
Both RB Tiki and Kelly loved it though, as do I.
