Simba! - news on post #14

I haven't posted photos or much of anything in a while, but I was at my parent's the other day and took a couple photos of my old man. He will be 15 in December!

And I love this one, my sweet old man and I!

He isn't a spry young man anymore, but he's still getting around slowly.

Hello Handsome Simba! That is a great picture of you two!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Just so heartwarming to see a hooman and her master dog smiling together!

    You both are so adorable.

OMG!!! Simba is 15?! He still looks like the same sweet boy... he's aged so gracefully, but of course he's had the best life a pound dog could ask for. I love the picture of you two. So cute!

It's nice to see Simba again. It's hard to believe all of our dogs are becoming senior citizens.

A bit of a pupdate on Simba...

He had a little old man episode yesterday so my parents brought him in. We ended up shooting some x-rays that show that his spleen is enlarged. He is getting an ultrasound tomorrow so that we can figure out what to do from there.

So, please keep him in your thoughts... I hope it isn't time. I don't think I can handle it at the moment, or if ever.

Here he is with me on my lunch break today. We had a little picnic out back.

Apparently, I did not see this thread first time around. Love Simba's smile, captured in that first photo!

    Prayers from RI for Simba.
