    Nala is going under tomorrow...

Please keep my big girl in your thoughts -- she is going under tomorrow for a procedure called an otoendoscopy. She has had chronic ear problems her whole life and we have tried everything under the sun to control them. She is 9 years old and this is her first surgery other than getting spayed as a pup.

They basically flush out the whole ear canal and it's like a fresh new start. I am hoping that this helps her greatly and we wont have the problems we've dealt with her whole life!

Here's the most recent photo I have of my girl, it's when she visited me at work last and she was getting a bath.

Please keep her in your thoughts tomorrow - she goes under at 8am. I'm probably the most nervous person ever at the moment.

Awww, pretty Nala girl! I will definitely be thinking of you guys tomorrow.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Prayers for you and Nala! Sounds like a procedure Chipper might benefit from if we can't get the swelling in his ears to go away with the ointment.

    Hope this procedure helps her!

Sending more hugs and prayers for Nala, hoping a wonder result soon.

Sorry for the delayed update! Nala's surgery went well. However, the infection in one of her ears has come back so we're going to have to keep trying for something that works for her!

Do they know why the infection keeps coming back? Has she been tested for allergies? Just curious, as I know when I get congested because I'm not taking enough allergy medication (they stopped making what I take several times) I end up with ear infections as a result. It is MOST annoying when my right ear, which doesn't even WORK gets infected.
