    Karen, I'm sorry you have to go through this. My mother had her gall bladder removed and it took some time to recover, but she was much older than you.

    Fister and I are sending purrs and hugs and hope the operation goes well. Get a lot of rest and recover fast!

    Karen - best wishes for a speedy recovery! I had mine out last Fall - was in the hospital for a few days, but I was back to my "normal" self and routine in less than 2 weeks! You should do just fine!

    Good luck, Karen. It'll go smoothly. You'll be back home before you know it!!

    Had my gall bladder out years ago just when it became arthroscopic surgery. I was back to normal in a week.

    Thanks, everyone! The actual surgery will be sometime this afternoon, I am looking forward to feeling human again.
