    "Summer" songs in Winter

Does anyone else's brain automatically rewrite lyrics to fit the actual season? A person I know from childhood now lives ob a lake, and posted pictures of kids skating on its frozen surface ....

Sing to the tune of REM's Nightswimming: (Google for the tune, it's all over YouTube, etc if you do not know it!)

Night skating deserves a quiet night
The photograph on the mantle taken years ago,
Gathering dust, but still our picture shows
Every skate blade catching the light
When they were so much newer
I forgot my boots at the water's edge
    The moon is high tonight
Night skating deserves a quiet night
I'm not sure all these people understand
    The quiet rush of blades
    The fear deep ice cracking
    The frozen deep black water
No one can see me flying
    Across the frozen pond
    The floodlight's far away
    Night skating
    Remembering those nights
    Numb toes and frozen breath
    I'm pining for the moon
And what if there were two
Side by side in orbit skating around the lake?
The star light would always light
    The quiet of night skating
You, I thought I knew you
    You, I cannot judge
You, I thought you knew me
    This one gliding quietly
    With cloudy breath
    Night skating
    The photograph reflects
Every dream, of axels and of spinning
    Night skating
    Deserves a quiet night
    Deserves a quiet night
(by me, of course! Don't anyone steal it!)

That's neat! I like when the radio station plays summerish songs from artists like Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett and Michael Franti and Spearhead. Never was able to substitute whole songs, just snippets of phrases.
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

Gimme an example song you're thinking of, and I'll see what my brain says!
