Happy retirement-- life has so many new things waiting for you. Believe it or not some days you'll be missing the hassle of going to work...the foolish moment doesn't last too long though...

Congratulations and Happy Retirement!!! Oh the joy of not having to get up in the dark and the rain; instead you get to cuddle with Merlin for just as long as you want ... sigh! Enjoy every moment - you have earned it!!

Thank you everyone for you nice comments. I came home tonight to find a huge bunch of flowers at my door from my neighbour, Betty. It hasn't quite set in yet - I need to take some time to concentrate on me and my health.

Champagne being served at Thursdays. Come on down.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
