He's black & white with a white patch between his eyes, a cute black nose, and a white face with a Groucho Marx moustache. Of course "Groucho" was the obvious choice.
With a black stache, of course you had to name him Groucho. I agree, Go Giants, Go Eli.

I named my kitty after the season's colors she has, Autumn has the colors of Fall since she is a Tortie. Those beautiful orange and yellow colors show up so pretty when the sun shines on her. She is really gorgeous.

Sherbie: He's an orangeman and my resident stray who came to stay 9 years ago. My granddaughter named him after orange sherbet.

Tallulah just seemed like a quirky name (and my mom came up with it because of Demi Moore's daughter, I think), and Tallulah is quirky and a calico, so it fit!

Domino sort of kept with my Disney themed names here and stole this one from 101 Dalmatians; however, he's black and white like a domino, so that worked too!

Trillian (Our little tuxie who doesn't come out unless she KNOWS who's in the house) was named after the character in Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy.

Patch, who should have been named psycho kitty, was named by our son shortly after he wandered into the yard and moved in. His coloring is patchy, hence the name.

Napoleon got his name because when he found me he was extremely thin and "Boney" which was the nickname that the British soldiers gave Napoleon Bonaparte!I am glad to say he is no longer bony and is mostly called Napper because he sleeps a lot , lol!

My son and his wife were with me when I got Amy. When we got home with her I said we had to name her, but it had to fit her.. I sat her on the floor in the middle of us and we just threw out names..they all got "NO!", "NOPE!" "NO!".... none fit until someone threw out the name "AMY!" and we all immediately said "YES!! THAT'S IT" and so she was named..

Giz was named when I got her, my son had named her.

Samantha I named to honor another former black cat I had that I adored named Sambo.... I wanted her to be Sam...something so Samantha was a really fitting name for my little black beauty.

Caramella was named that because her now orange spots were caramel colored when she was a infant. I love her name but I tell her all the time I should have named her "Angel" because that is what she is..
