    Cole to the vet next

He's not really ill...but has had diarrhea for several days. I'll take a sample in tomorrow.

It might be a simple bug, or he has been getting into Oscar's CD food and it's a bit rich for him.

I gave him a washing off this morning - he was such a good boy. I use some hair conditioner or fabric softener in a few inches of warm water in my bathroom sink and a small rag. The softener makes the fur in that sensitive area much easier to comb out and get extra stuff.

Will update when I know more.

We're praying and sending good wishes and healing energies to Cole and you both, Candace.

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I hope it's nothing serious and that whatever is causing this can be easily treated. Good luck.

I have to trim the fur around Alani's, Blaze's, and Ziggy's furry bottoms because they tend to squat too low while pooping and then they get poopoo butt. When Ziggy gets it she'll scoot her bottom all over my carpet and leave a long poop trail. I keep telling them to watch Sky because he knows how to do it. He makes sure his bottom is up high while he goes and he's never had a problem.

Hopefully the vet appreciates the nice clean kitty butt to examine! Fingers crossed that the cause has an easy remedy. Hugs for Cole!
