    Lillycat's Indiana, "Indra" 1997-10/7/11

Lillycat lost her heart cat, Indra, today. Indiana, which somehow became Indy, then Indra, was mom's first cat. The true love of her life, and the bond was beyond belief. With a soft voice, she could bring Indra around, and comforted. He had been sick with diabetes for some years, and took a horrible turn for the worst two days ago. She took him to the ER, and he was so severly dehyrated and his blood sugars so out of control that nothing but supportive measures could be done, intially. It seems that there was something not right on either the xray/or ultrasound, and the word lymphoma was mentioned. Indra was not doing well from a neurological standpoint, and the only decision to be made was the final decision. He went to join Lillycat's other two striped boys, Nevvie and Washy, who left her slightly longer than one year ago. It seems unfair, and unfathomable that mom could lose 3 beautiful boys in half that time.

Indra, you were loved like no other, and will be missed beyond belief. Sleep softly, the most strippiest of all tabbies. Your mommy's heart is smashed wide open.

I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of Indra, so beloved and cherished.

My very deepest sympathy to you and your mother and all who love Indra.

Rest in peace, dearest Indra, healthy and strong again at the Rainbow Bridge as you await that Grand Reunion, One Fine Day.

Peace and comfort to you all.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Oh no, not her third kitty.

Hugs to Lillycat. I hope some happy memories will help as you heal.

Play happy at the Bridge, Indra, with Nevvie and Washy.

That is so sad that Indra was called away, but she'll be waiting for the marvelous reunion that will come about one day.

RIP Indra, and {{{HUGS}}} to Lillycat.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of such a sweet baby. RIP Indra.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
