    Pics of Mario

Mario is a ten year old maine coon cat (we THINK). When the humane society found him, his whiskers were burnt off- thought to be the work of some punk kids. Probably as a result, he is usually skiddish around strangers, but with us? He's the perfect cat.

He has always been playful and curious, jumping up on top of our fridge and knocking down priceless vases. He's also intelligent- we taught him how to shut off the bathroom light when we tap it.

Soft, adorable, just an all-around love. I get lots of pictures of him, so I wanted to share some (down below!) .

When I'm paying too much attention to the computer..

    Sly cat look

    Crossed paws

He loves belly rubs (for 10 seconds before he hits you...)

Oh be still my heart, what a handsome lad! I would be SO tempted to give that belly a rub!

I learned quickly that nothing goes on top of the fridge -- except cats! LOL

So happy he has a lovely home with you.

He so handsome and looks so relaxed in his home. Thanks for sharing his pictures with us. He could also be a Norwegian Forest Cat mix. This is what I was told that my Sky is.

What a gorgeous young man! I think Sunny might be preparing a love letter, he has the same tabby markings as her, they can be short haired and long haired together. The perfect match!

They do look quite similar! I have heard that breed is similar to the coon.

Oh, what a love bug! And those beautiful big feetsies....

    Welcome HOME, Mario!

CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

You mean extra toesies (toes ) or partial feet? As in a Hemingway polydactal? Or a true double paw?

The feet are so furry it's hard to tell. Beautiful kitty

My brother has a polydactyl and the toes change his stance and walk. Sort of a duck walk. He's still a log-legged graceful cat.

We ARE truly lucky. He chose us in the Humane Society. He put his paw up to the glass, and I put my hand up to his paw in greeting. And he was ours.
