How to entertain a room full of cats

    1: find empty jar
2: find large bug (katydids are fun because they chirp)
3: plop jar down on kitchen floor and call for kitties

sorry I sound like a dork in this video

Jojo is the video star. He spent hours trying to get them out of the jar, but whenever I'd open the jar he'd barely reach a paw in he was so scared. Pixel is the little mostly white cat and Mischeif is the grey.

I think Havoc would knock himself silly bangin' his head on the jar. He's a little on the dense side, but he knows he likes to eat bugs, LOL

With my two, I've found that an ordinary housefly buzzing around the room is more than enough entertainment for them as they forget what they're not supposed to get up onto and ignore anything and everything in their path as they hunt and chase the intruder down.

What a great idea! Loved the pic and the video especially. Bugs seem to be the best entertainment for cats.

What a great idea. I've got a jar handy if I see anything big and interesting enough to catch. Sparky would probably be more interested in it than my son's fuddy-duddy cats, but I'll give it a try.

That is a great idea!! Luckily, I don't have any large bugs like that around. But if I happen to see anything (like the big cockaroach my neighbor showed me the other day) I'll have to do this. Jax would go CRAZY!!!
That video was just too cute!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
