    Again with the MEOW...MEOW...MEOW

So I woke up in the middle of the night on Sunday to the sound of Tink talking away...meow, meow, meow. The room was dark and my TV was still on. I am all groggy and trying to figure out what Tink is up to. She was sitting on the table at the end of my bed and looking up at the TV while she was meowing. I look at the TV and notice a strange shape down at the bottom right corner of the TV. Hmmmm.....

What do you not want to have to deal with at 2:00 a.m.? Here it was a grasshopper! On my TV screen! And, the television is on top of my tall dresser so the stupid bug jumped all the way up there (I realize it is a grasshopper and they hop...)

So quick thinking I grabbed a container and a piece of cardboard thinking I was going to collect the grasshopper in the container and put him back outside. My aim was a little off and the stupid thing jumped across the room to the window. Grrrrrr

Second attempt I got the little green guy into the container and escorted him back outside where I am sure he was just as happy as I was that he was out there.

Imagine the fun Tink could have had, had she caught the thing!

At first I thought Tink was trying to tell you you forgot to turn off the TV - Fister would have. If anything is out of the ordinary, Fister will make sure to tell me. This, of course, was exiting to Tink, but I'm glad she didn't catch the grasshopper, and glad you escorted it to the outside. Hope you slept well after!

You are SO lucky Tink didn't launch herself at that TV! Mine have done. Missed the bug, of course, but wow what a racket that made!

Tink knew you didn't want him in there unless he contributed with rent money.

LOL! Laughing at your replies so far. Tinky isn't the type to launch herself. However, she will stare a bug down and talk to it trying to get it to come to her relentlessly.

Yes, I wasn't all that traumatized by a grasshopper and was able to go back to sleep. HOWEVER, if it had been a mouse...I would have moved!
