    She's such a cutie! If I owned my own place I'd want a herd. Of course the ferret would have to die of old age first, it wouldn't be fair to have a small prey animal in a place where it can smell and see ferrets.

    Thanks! I'd love to have a whole herd, if I had the room and wasn't allergic to them. I'm doing fine allergy wise with Elle, because I keep her very, very clean. She lives on fleece instead of commercial bedding, she gets brushed daily, and bathed often. I've considered adopting a male, having him neutered and introducing him to her as a mate. But I worry 2 will set my allergies over the deep end, so Elle lives solo. She doesn't seem to mind though.
