Haven't been feeling great. Any ideas?

I've been feeling pretty crappy for the past week or two. Off and on I get sick to my stomach like I could throw up and shakey feeling. Like weak feeling. I could feel fine and suddenly I feel like I could be sick. It's an awful feeling. Its hard to concentrate at work. I just want to go home and sleep. I've been to the doctor and was told it's likely because I stopped my blood pressure medication. She said my pulse was fast and could give me the jittery/shakey feeling. I started the medication again on Friday. I still don't feel any better. I've been checking my blood pressure all along and it's been fine. Today it was 119/89. My pulse is still fast around 95. I also checked my blood sugar and it's also normal. Those are the 2 main things that come to my mind feeling like this. No idea what is going on any suggestions?

Have you ever had a tick bite? Have you been checked for Lyme Disease?

I don't think I've ever been tested for Lyme disease. I don't spend a lot of time outside. I don't think I've been bitten by a tick for that reason

Okay, have you been eating carefully? Making sure to drink enough liquids?

I haven't got any ideas, but I hope you will be feeling much better again shortly!

I tend to agree with Karen. There are so many symptoms and you certainly need to be diagnosed by a Dr. I can only suggest that you write down your symptoms. Put it in your purse just in case. Go to the Dr. Depending on where you live if you go to the emergency room, they tend to get on things. Otherwise I am sorry for your illness but take charge and deal with it. Clearly your symptoms are frightening you and stressful. And also, you really need to see a professional when it comes to illness, no one on the internet has a clue, and sometimes peeps say the damnedest bloody things??? These are complete strangers on the internet.

I agree with mon. Write down all your symptoms and see a doctor, not the "internet doc". I would also request a complete bloodpanel.
I hope you get to feel better.

I went to a walk in clinic today and the doctor said it was probably a summer cold. I don't think that's what it is honestly...I've been sick a lot lately. It doesn't feel like a normal cold either. Just really tired of feeling like this. It's so hard to concentrate at work. Had to leave this morning and come home

Aww, sorry about that sweetie. Did they at least take some blood to do a work-up? Did you explain it has been a long while you've felt ill?

I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy I agree with what others say, ask to have a complete blood panel done. There has got to be a reason.

Do you eat healthy food? Perhaps there's something you need in your diet. Talk about that also with your doctor.

    Feel better soon!

Sorry to read you are feeling crappy and for such a long term. My eyebrows jumped up when you said your pulse is 95. That is much too high.

I agree with the others, you need to see a doctor and have a blood panel. And you need to keep to the proper regimen for the blood pressure medication; not before breakfast one day, after lunch the next. It has to be consistent. I know, I take it for hypertension as well.

Only other suggestion I have is to call the pharmacist and ask how long it normally takes for your specific blood pressure medication to work. Be specific, as it varies w/ lisinopril, metropolol, and synthroid. I know my recheck was 6 weeks. So if you just resumed it Friday, perhaps the bp is still a factor. I'm not saying it IS, but it could be.
