    Plans for a new puppy

One of our friends has a lab who has had puppies. I have been trying to convince DH that my dog needs a playmate since she has never been an only dog. He asked me the other day if I wanted a puppy and I told him not to toy with me because he knows I do. He said he wasn't so we are getting a black lab puppy. I am really excited about it!

A couple of pictures! We visited them last week and the puppy breath was intoxicating!

OMG! How in the world can you choose one? There's nothing like a newborn, tiny baby. The mom is gorgeous! Isn't it heaven to hold a shiny itty bitty? Congratulations!! Thank DH for giving in too! Whatever you did, it worked!!! Good for you!!!!

We are going for one of the black ones. I rather wanted one of the yellow ones and a male but James wants a black female. All the black ones are female so if we go black it is going to be a female. There are three male yellows and two female yellows. We will make a more definite decision when they are a little older and their personalities are showing a bit more. I want a male because I think Foxy gets along better with males but James wants a female because he prefers females to males. Probably will be a black female but we will have to wait and see

Well, whatever gender you chose, you'll be blessed! I'm saying that because I'm a June baby too!!! My Logan is a female who doesn't like other females. I think she wants to be alpha. She adores "da boys" and will follow them around the dog park, much to their dismay after 15 minutes! Have fun chosing!

has your husband said why he prefers female dogs over male dogs? i think im starting to prefer female dogs over male dogs anymore here lately as some male dogs even when theyre neutered will pee on dang near every blasted thing. sometimes drives me crazy. LOL
