mrspunkysmom guessed the correct answer even though I had it wrong in my puzzle. I had miss copied Pinuc instead of pinus. She gave it to me both ways saying her references said pinus. I am waiting her response on whether she will host or not. Making mistakes no longer surprises me.

    Loblolly Pine (Pinuc Taeda)

Loblolly pine is a densely-crowned tree to 35 m in the southeastern USA, where it covers several million acres. It is better suited to wet sites than most pines, and its name is derived from “Loblollies” moist depressions. It is one of a group of southern pines raised for lumber , Plywood, and pulp.

I've gotten to the point, that if I don't find a mistake of my own, I double check. I almost always make 1 to 2 errors for every exercise or project.
