    Miracle Pets

My daughters and I were just talking about our cat "Sully" and the amazing thing he did recently.

One day he jumped over the fence and make friends with a Bichon that lived next door. Our neighbors' told us that every day after that, Sully would play with the dog and if it was not outside, he would pop his little head up so he could see into their backdoor screen almost begging for the Bichon named "Sam" to come out and play. One day Sam got sick and went to the vet. Turns out he had a aneurysm and died on the vet's table. Of course my neighbors were heartbroken and took their little Sammy and buried him in their yard. After that, they told us that for about a week, they would see Sully sleeping and playing on the grave.

We always thought was a miracle that situation was and love telling people about it!

I know there are more stories like Sully's out there and would love to hear them!!!!

What a sweet, yet sad, story. And they say that animals are dumb??? The dumb ones, are the people that say it or believe it.

    That's a beautiful story!

Back in 2006 I put our family dog to sleep, after we burried her in the yard my parent's cat Leroy laid on her grave from time to time.

They know more and feel more than most people give them credit for.

Awww, that brought tears to my eyes.

My brother lost his dog, Digger, when he was hit by a car. Their other dog, Boo, would not eat for the longest time after. He would sit and look around for Digger. Even though they brought Digger home to bury him on their property, and they let Boo jump up in the truck to see Digger.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Animals have more feelings and an extra sense that people don't seem to recognize. My own furry friend just taught me how deep those feelings are and how that sixth sense does exist.

If only people would be as compassionate, loyal, understanding as our animal friends. This beautiful, touching story reminded me of an article I read about elephants. We 2 leggers could sure learn a thing or 2, or 3 or 4.
