Thought I'd share a few pics of Boris that I took today. We have a "new" to us living room set (got it used off of Craigslist, and it's really nice), and Boris LOVES it!! The fabric is so much warmer and softer than the leather sofas we had.

So, here is my Boris girl!

Nope, no thread on how my girl cat, BORIS, got her name, lol.

When we found her, we thought she was a he, and my brother was going to take her in and keep her. He had a dog, named Rocky, and I thought it was from Rocky and Bullwinkle. So I thought, how perfect to have another cartoon name for this cute little boy kitty, so we named him Boris.

It wasn't until about the "big snip" time that we noticed there wasn't going to be much to snip, lol, and figured out, "OOOPS!!! Boris is a girl!!". By that time the name had stuck, and my brother had also backed out of taking her in. Oh well. I got a great cat out of the deal, with a name that can be a conversation piece, lol. We thought of changing her name to Natasha, the other character in Rocky and Bullwinkle, but it just didn't seem to fit her. Boris fit, lol. So, that's what she's stayed. I do called her Baby Kitty a lot of the time, so she knows that name too. Sometimes I think her attitude comes from being named Boris, and knowing it's a boy's name and a strange one at that! LOL!

I bet My Found Cats would like a nice couch like that so we can all snooze together. That looks so comfortable!!!

Can you believe I found the whole set on Craigslist for $450?! It came with Sofa, Loveseat, all the pillows, 2 end tables and a coffee table! I was amazed and called and emailed and called again, lol. I wanted it so badly. It looks almost like what I had had, and it was so cheap. My other set cost in the thousands, and this was no where near that.
