Does anyone remember Jasper, who was Pet of the Day on 10/20/10? He has a new brother named Miller! You can see pictures of both of them on Jasper's Facebook page.

Oh so cute and cuddly looking. I love alpacas and am lucky to live near a farm that has several mixed in with qa flock of sheep and three miniature donkeys.. I see them several times a week.

From Jasper Alpaca's Facebook page: "We believe that Miller was deprived of O2 when he was born. As a result he has been kinda slow and now with the 8 inches of rain in the past 24 hours he is catching a cold." Please say a prayer for this little one.

Last I saw, yesterday, he was able to stand, move his front legs.
I was just over there posting about the twins at the other farm. Back I go!

I have been following Miller on Jasper's facebook. I can't stop crying about poor little Miller, for some reason. He had the sweetest little face and tried so hard to live. It just breaks my heart. He was a month premature, I believe, giving him a rough start. His human Mom paid $4500 for surgery on his neck, and now he is gone. Sad, sad, sad. His humans gave him so much love and time. I suppose it was meant to be that he touched down, touched many and then went on to RB.

I saw this on Jasper's Facebook page: "I'm on baby watch with the rest of the herd. Dezzrae will be giving us a baby VERY soon." Fingers tightly crossed that the new family member will be healthy and happy!
