    Say Hello to Oreo!

    Hi Everyone!!

I am so so so happy to say that after over a year we have finally got ourselves a computer again!!! I have missed being able to post on PetTalk so much!

Anyways, I got a very cute, perfect, cuddly gift for christmas from my husband and I would like you all to meet him. His name is Oreo and he is a purebred Lop Earred Bunny! He was born September 17th and is now about 3 and a half months old.

Oreo is a lop that will grow really really big so we bought him a really really big expensive cage and he lives right in our living room. The cage has a front door too, so we have it open all the time so that Oreo can go in and out of his cage as much as he wants.

    Here he is...

This is his big cage....which as you can see other species likes too.

    The cat will never know...

For some reason he likes to be on our cable box lol

And that's all for Oreo for now!

I hope you all enjoyed and will have a very happy New Year!!

Oh, welcome back, Kalei! We have missed you, and

    Welcome Oreo!

You are are gorgeous, and we look forward to getting to see you and hearing more from your mom and your siblings - those pointy-eared non-bunnies.

Oh, Kalie, right now, before it's too late, shield those cables! a split second and a curious bunny can chop a cable in two, and maybe electrocute himself as well. For now, paper towel tubes, anything that will keep them from being exposed to his teeth! We got some black plastic tubing that worked pretty well, too. Hide them,, or cover them, before Oreo discovers them, okay?

Thanks everyone for welcoming Oreo! And Karen, thanks for reminding me, we haven't done anything yet. I just watch him alot, Daniel already had to repair our christmas tree lights once We also found where he was enjoying biting the plastic off the large cable cord....so we plan to get some pvc piping and putting it around the cables. We definately never want him to get hurt and we also don't want our cable cut off :P

I am very interested to see how big he is going to get

Hello, adorable Oreo! What a lovely black and white you have and those lop ears-- you make my heart skip a beat with your bunny cuteness! Please, please don't munch on the power cords. Your mum probably has other things for you to safely chew. Welcome to PT! PS, your kitty siblings are lovely too

Thanks everyone! I'm glad we bought him a big cage..I've only ever owned dwarf rabbits before, and when I saw how big this guy's momma was I just knew I could't stuff him in a dwarf cage. He needs a big cage so I'm happy we got him one, and I'm so glad he is fully litter trained already! So we can let him run around the living room all he wants! Whenever he has to use the washroom, he just runs back into his cage.
