    The Original Muttlie Trio... *pics*

I know I just posted a photo thread, but... I went to visit with my mom tonight. Of course, I had to take some pictures of my kids.

    My old handsome man...

He's still my boy (incredibly blurry but I still love it!)

    Kiara!

The best dogs in the whole universe...

Nala's getting sleepy... it was past their bedtime!

Kiara never gets sleepy... always ready to retrieve whatever you have for her!

    Simba agrees with Nala.

Had to give them some treats before I left, prime opportunity for a group shot.

~Kay, Athena, Ace, Kiara, Mufasa, & Alice!

I have to be honest, I almost started crying while loving on him. He's getting so old and has slowed down soo much in his age. I just never want to say goodbye to him for good. I do cherish the time I still have with him, I know I'm lucky to have him for so long already. He's my boy and I can tell he still loves me just as much as I him.

(Okay, I'll admit I started tearing up when typing this. Oh, life!)

How nice to see the original Muttlies! I remember when you just had Simba and Nala. Then of course when you got Kiara. It's hard to see them getting old Kay but there's nothing like being loved by an old dog.

Awww, how great to see them all again. I remember seeing pictures of Kiara when she was a puppy and growing up with her older brother and sister. That must have been around the time I joined this place

Have Simba's ears always been that way though? For some reason I have an image in my head that his hears stood up

Thank you all. I agree Annette, there's just something special about those seniors.

Freedom, they've been pretty good! They've all gotten chunkier since I haven't been living with them. Nala has been having ear troubles again, but my parents had me bring her into work and they're clearing up nicely.

Varga, When we first got Simba his ears were floppy. Over the years, they slowly went out to the sides like this < >. He developed a hematoma in one and then later a hematoma in the other. After getting rid of the hematomas, his ears began to "flop" again.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

It's great to see the 3 Muttlies, Kay! They all look GREAT and so happy! I know exactly how you feel about your Simba, Sadie is definitely slowing down at her age of 14. But like Simba, I still love that girl soo much. <3

    Such great photos.

It's such a shock to me to see how much they've aged. In my mind, they are still youthful pups. It's the same with Kia.

    Gotta love them senior pups.
