    Sadie's lumps get a name...

    Sterile nodular panniculitis.

I'm not *completely* sure what it is, but I think it's some sort of auto-immune disease?

Sadie's the second case our vet has ever seen, I guess all the vets at the office were meeting to talk and learn about it.

Right now she's on a low dose of (I think) antibiotics to try and keep her remaining lumps from getting any bigger. I guess they're looking to see what our other options are now.

*sigh* I'm glad it's not cancer or anything...but of COURSE Sadie would have something my vet's hardly seen before.

Just because...here is miss Sadie last summer when we took her with us to get ice cream, lol
in on the joke and i cant stop laughing

Nodular panniculitis in dogs is a disease involving areas of inflamed, tender nodules in fatty tissues underneath the skin. These nodules can be localized or may appear in several areas. Most dogs recover fully with treatment. The most common treatment is prednisone.
