We love you, Phred. Please get better
I will be happy to contribute to any fund that is set up for the three amigos.
Dear Phred, prayers are coming in fast and furious for you - never doubt that you are well loved by this community.
I am off to light more candles for you.
I'll be checking for donation submission info, thanks.
Phred, please take care, we all miss you.
GO RAVENS!!
Feel better very soon!
I got the phone number of his hospital room from Staci and I tried to call at 1:52 p.m. - California time, 4:52 p.m. Ohio time and there was no answer on his phone.
I will wait a while and try again.
Praying very hard for Phred.
I found out about this today. So sad....Phred is, as was said earlier, really one of the solid backbone people at PT that I've gotten to know a little bit over the last few years. Hearing he's doing so poorly with his health does make me very sad.
Friend to Kia, Chipper, Zam, Logan, Raptor, Nimrod, Harley, Baby Crested, Mei, Esme, Jasper and Lucy Inara, along with the hermit crabs.
I just called and spoke briefly to his nurse of the evening. Phred was asleep, but the nurse said he is stable for now, so that's a good thing. Stable is step #1, now let's all pray that he starts improving on top of that.

Yes, Karen, thank you for your update. It makes me feel a bit better too.
I am glad that he is able to rest.
I will be keeping up the prayers just the same though.
Staci texted me a short time ago. She spoke to him this evening for about 10 minutes. Said he sounded better then yesterday, but that he said had a long way to go. Keep the prayers coming!
Still praying hard for dearest Phred. Sounds like our prayers might be starting to help, keep going everyone!!! Lots of love coming from Canada for you Phred.

I am sorry I have not posted anything about Phred yet. As many of you know, Phred has helped my family out a lot in the past. And we consider him family not just a friend. How this stay in the hospital got past me is another story BUT no one has to send any money for kenneling the dogs. I am going to go get them probably Friday, Dec. 17th and going to keep them until sometime late January. (His friends are going on a cruise in January). I have talked to Phred and he knows of these plans and is okay with them. If you have called and not been able to reach him it is because he has had to have some treatments and is out of the room for periods of time. He also had some other things done but I am not clear on what they are as he is pretty weak. The nurse informed me he is not in any danger right now but will need to recover from these latest treatments. He is already sounding stronger although gets pretty tired even trying to talk on the phone. A case manager is suppose to get ahold of me (she called today but I was not at home and she was not there when I called back) and will be able to tell me more of what is going on as Phred has given her permission.
So they did tell me that cards are very welcome by and for him. He is still pretty weak so phone calls maybe should be put on hold for a few days. A phone is in his room however, and if you feel the need to talk to him, don't let me stop you. He has helped so many of us and I know many of you want to let him know how much you care.
I will be out of town tomorrow so I probably won't have any update until later in the week. Keep the prayers going - it sounds like he has a long haul ahead of him to get better.
