So we went and visited the gorgeous puppies. They are growing like weeds! And already so heavy! Lol Not used to boys I guess. Delta weighed about 7 pounds but these puppies felt like 10 pounds! Lol The one we picked was the smallest boy (still bigger than the girls of course). Well, we picked...
NAT!!!!
He is such a total sweet heart. We got to know him a bit and both he and Brandon liked to be with us. Lick our noses. I was talking to Michelle and she mentioned that they all listen so well, are all so smart, and VERY brave. Nothing scares any of them. (I have another statement to make on this in a bit) I asked which one likes to be with you the most and follows you around, she said Nat. (I want my puppy to be with me) She said his nose should definitely fill in... but actually all three boys are missing just a smidge of their nose trim. I guess the deal breaker for me and Brandon was the fact that she said Brandon was the most 'dominant' making sure all the pups knew their place when going back into the whelping box. I figured with Delta's attitude, it probably wouldn't be best to have a dog that always placed himself before her.
So anyways, with a registered name meaning 'always audacity'... I figured bravery was a good thing. She said the line these puppies come from was her original line she started with. She had been breeding a previous bitch (Delta's mom) for a bit, but she is now done... and she was from a different line. Those pups tend to be less outgoing and more... 'uh, something just touched my tail, omg!' which Delta SOOOO is. Lol But this line is so different, more outgoing and brave. I am so excited to see the difference in them. This should make for a good show dog. Apparently Doc's daddy showed in 9 weekends and was almost, if not, (she can't remember exactly) undefeated in the ring!
Then Delta got to meet the boys. Dylan was weary of her Lol, Brandon and Nat loved her... and she loved them all. I was sooo proud of her... she never once snapped or threatened them. Brandon was jumping up on her back and pawing her back and she just stood there. They all came and licked her mouth and she moved lips, but she does that when I pet them too. Lol Not in a snarly way. She kept pawing at them gently. Then they would run and scatter and she would WHINE until they all came back... silly girl.
Well, here are some pictures... I am more excited than ever now.
