Hello Pretty Girl! You really are quite lovely Izzy. It also sounds as if you are smart too. I too am familiar with the "grab food and run game" LOL. It is obvious from the writeup that your human loves you very much and that you have a wonderful home. I hope you both have many years together. Congrats on being DOTD! Kay in NC

Hi there Izzy! So happy to meet you, sweet baby girl! Oh, what a gorgeous girl you are Izzy; that thick fluffy coat is stunning, and that smile and the love shining from those big, brown eyes, simply heart melting. And oh, did my heart melt at the sight of that beautiful face, reading your Mommy's so very touching and heartfelt tribute to her beautiful best friend, her devoted and loving companion, her soul mate! I don't think there's a more loved pup on the planet than you, Izzy! As your wise Mommy says, you are living proof of the great rewards of rescue, of opening up ones home and heart to a animal in need of a loving home, and the love they bless us with in return is priceless, and unconditional! I'm so glad to hear that your seizures are under control, Izzy; I'm sure that was so scary for your Mom, and hopefully careful monitoring will continue to be all that is needed!!!

Your Mommy is so lucky to have a beautiful, smart, sensitive and loving best friend in you, Izzy...actually, she says it best...

"Izzy is my best friend, my God-given solace, the best part of my life and I pray every day that I have many more wonderful years with her!!!"

Now if that isn't a testament to rescue, and the rewards of animal guardianship, I don't know what is! And if your resume could possibly get anymore impressive, you're a hero to boot, alerting your Mom to that tornado as you did! What a girl!

I wish for you dear Izzy, a very happy day celebrating your well earned hour of honor with your awesome Mom, and many, many more wonderful years together; you and she were definitely meant to be as one! Love and hugs to you, beautiful Izzy!

Izzy, you are so pretty, I love your golden coat. What a funny little girl you are, sneaking your mommy's cheese. I will give you some of my pizza crust if you ever come visit, dear Izzy. My dogs have always loved pizza crust too. I'm glad you and your mommy have such a happy life together and I hope you have many more years together. Congratulations on being our DOTD.

Wow, I have to say that Izzy is one of the prettiest girls I have seen. What a lucky girl to have found a home where she can have pizza delivered just for her. Have a good day, pretty Izzy.

    Izzy is so beautiful

Izzy, you are one fine looking dog, but with the reddish fur you sort of look like a giant red fox! Pretty cool, I must say. I am glad you were adopted from a shelter, you certainly have proven to be quite the catch for your owner. Take care, from another midwestern tornado watcher...Robin
