{{{{{HUGS}}}} and lots of prayers that it isn't FIP, and that Punky will have many more years with you.

Thank you for your kindness. Punky is not much better this morning.
Would not eat anything, drank a little water though. He looked so pitiful
this morning. He came up to Blackie (his good buddy) and sat beside him.
Normally that's the signal for Blackie to start grooming him, but instead,
Blackie didn't even look at Punky, just got up and walked away from him.
Punky just drifted off to the spare bedroom to his favorite sleeping spot.

I don't see how he could have gotten so sick so fast. The Vet said
it was possible that the other cats could come down with FIP as well,
but if they show no signs yet, they probably won't. No promises. I feel
like I'm in a bad dream.

Here is a picture of Punky as I'm so bad about posting my kitties pictures
much. I want you to see how handsome he is. He is the gray & white cat
in this picture with Smokey(dog) and Joey.(other cat)

Oh Liz, I'm so very sorry to hear about Punky. He looks like such a sweet boy and is very handsome. I hope the treatment will help him, but if it doesn't I know you will keep him as comfortable as possible.

Fister and I are sending lots of healing thoughts and purrs to dear Punky.

Just a small update on Punky. Still not eating much of anything. A few
bites at best & then walks away. Had a soft & bloody stool this morning.
He sleeps a lot. He has found a bright sunny spot in the dining room floor
and he has settled there for now. He walks very slow & carefully, no running
no playing at all. One bright spot is he is very receptive to gentle tummy
rubs and he seems to enjoy that.

Oh, Liz. I am so sorry. Can you try warming up some wet food in the micro? It might temp him some. Still praying for Punky.

Poor sweet thing. Glad to hear he's still enjoying the tummy rubs though.

Johanna, He won't eat any wet food at all. Some of the canned stuff
with sauce, he will sniff the liquid part, but that's it. Punky is still showing
some interest in his favorite kibble, but only eats a few at a time. I do free
feed so it's always available if he wants it.

I know he's lost weight, but he still interested in watching (and reacting)
to the birds outside in the yard, or sleeping in the sunshine, or getting some
special attention from me. He acts good sometimes, othertimes he seems
very weak. He does not seem to be in any pain, but definately, not his old
bossy self. I might be naive, but I'm hoping he'll fool everybody & start
getting better any day now. Maybe the Vet was wrong about him.
