    Mr. Spunky's Gotcha Day

    Nine years ago today, I found Spunky in a cage in the back of an exotic creature store. The owner was trying to save critters from the local high-kill shelter, but the conditions were terrible. He actually lay in my hand and only his tail extended off the hand. He looked like he was 2 weeks, but he was 6 weeks, and weighed only 0.6 pounds when I took him to the vet 2 days later. He chowed down for days. He eats more than either cat.

    He earned his name through his spirited antics and now loves to play with Lady Jane, who has enough energy to keep up with him.

    In these nine years he has battled allergies and fibrosarcoma.

    He comforts me when my spirits are down and seeks love when he needs it. He will invite me to play and has a sense of humor.

    He is my heart kitty.

    Mr. Spunky, you are a beautiful kitty! I love the photo of you helping meowmie on the computer. What do you know, your gotcha day and meowmie's birthday are right together! Please have her give you (Lady Jane too) some big hugs from me!

    Then she fell in love with you and made you her very Special Cat , and you and she are Companions now and furrever.
    We Found Cats All Love You Mister Spunky^^ , and wish we coud take you to the Kings Buffet on Tuesday afternoon.
