Twelve new fishies! *lots of pics*

I went to Big Al's on Sunday just hoping to pick up a few cories to start off my twenty gallon. But when I got there they had a new shipment of crowntail female bettas, which I can never find around here. They were healthy, spunky and getting along fairly well despite the set up they were in. So I grabbed six of them too. I also moved one of my other betta girls, Fritter into the tanl. I was going to put both of my current girls in but Calypso is double the size of Fritter and the new girls so I was afraid that she might bully some of the itty-bitty girls. I'm watching the tank parameters since I've just added a huge bioload all at once but the tank is taking it well and I'll do water changes as needed until it balances out.

Here's the tank, all done (I'm incapable of getting clear shots of fish tanks apparently):

For the fish that I can't tell a part I often give group names. I can tell most of the cories a part but they have a group name anyways. The cories are known as the House Elves. (Cories often clean up the extra food and house elves clean...get it? :P ). Here are a few pictures of some of the cories:

And here are the bettas. They have Tea themed names because one of them reminded me of mints and I was drinking peppermint tea while I was watching them adjust to the tank and yeah..

    Group Shots:

I spent a couple of hours off and on and those were the best pictures I could get, lol, so bear with them. The girls are doing really well though, they settled their order quickly and now they even hangout and chase bubbles together.

    Enjoy!

Congrats on the new girls... they're pretty! I adore keeping a tank full of female bettas. They're fun.
