    Math Problem #2

A bill of $7.45 was paid with 32 coins: half dollars, quarters, dimes, and nickels. If there were seven more dimes than nickels and twice as many dimes as quarters, how many coins of each type were used?

That's too much thinking this early in the day. I liked question #1 much better - that was a no-brainer!

    I agree!

It's been too long since I visited USA and I can't remember how much dimes and nickels are worth. Would they be 0.10 and 0.05 of a dollar?

Thanks, but I think I'll let someone else solve it!

    The coins we have here are: Kr. 20, 10, 5, 2, 1, and 0,5

When I was a child, we had coins down to 0,01. They got rid of 0,25 recently.
