    T.V. Commercials

I hate most t.v. commercials. They either insult your intelligence, or make you feel somewhat uncomfortable in the presence of children. You know - the ones for male enhancement, and now female enhancement too! Those should be prohibited until after 10 p.m. - IMO anyway.

Of course I love most commercials where animals are involved - especially dogs and cats. Who couldn't smile at most of them???

But there is a new commercial out now which I find delightful - for some reason. It's for Kleenex tissues, and it's a bunch of school kids doing a kind of line dance - only it's just a hand clapping and high five thing. The music is catchy and bouncy and the kids look like they are having a grand old time. It's makes me just grin, and want to grab someone and break into dance. It's a fun, happy thing, and so different from the run of the mill idiotic commercials that take up so much t.v. time.

Has anyone else seen the one with the kids? What do you think of it? Cool - huh???

It's sad really, because I do not watch commercials anymore. I always plan it out so I start watching something about 20 minutes after it starts so I can fast forward through commercials. Modern technology has allowed me this pleasure (DVR).
My mom always asks if I saw a commercial and I have to remind her I don't watch commercials. But I watch for ones I've heard are good. So I'll have to watch for this one.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I completely adore the Traveler's Insurance commercial with all the animals. When I catch it on the DVR, I'll stop and play the whole commercial every time. I love the music, I love the fantasy of it, and I love the meerkat taking a high dive from the top of the giraffe's head!

    AARRGHHH!!! Now this is pathetic.........

I thought I'd do a search and see if I could find a video of this commercial and post a link, but couldn't find one.

I did however, find numerous comments about it - some good and some bad. Some people actually found it disgusting and offensive and wanted to write to Kleenex and protest it - because one of the kids sneezed, and the clapping continued. Wow - he sneezed. DUH - it's a commercial for Kleenex!!!!

I guess they are the type who find it NOT offensive to discuss what to do when an ******** lasts more than 4 hours, in the Viagara, etc commercials.

Some people need to get a life.................

Imagine being on a date, watching a commercial about male/female enhancement products. Now THAT would be quite embarassing. IMO.

I watch so little tv that I've never seen this commercial. But I flick the tv to another station when commercials come on or I take the opportunity to go check my mails. I can't stand commercials, except the one we used to get about a Hippo, it had a catchy tune. I'm not sure we get the Kleenex one,
I'll have to try watching for it.

I love the Subaru commercial where the Dad is instructing the daughter on being careful driving and he is seeing her as a little girl but at the end they show that she is an actual teenager, it really hit home for me.

I haven't seen the commercial you are talking about.

My all-time favorite animal commerical is the one for cat litter where the cat hires a bloodhound to help him find his litter box. Too funny to see the cat following him!

I watch mainly cable, no commercials, but I do watch an occasional network show. My fav is the Geico commercial where the little pig cried "wee wee wee all the way home". It breaks me up every time.

I like many commercials - the ones that are funny, have catchy songs etc. Have yall seen any of the Swagger Wagon (Sienna min-van) commercials? Those make me laugh!! There is a whole series of them with this yuppie family and their kids. meet the Sienna family

The male enhancement and female product ones - well, I hope my grandkids a never ask me about them!

I hate Geico commercials, but I have to admit - that one is cute. I like the one about the bloodhound finding the litterbox for the cat too.

I watch very little of the network channels, except for news and shows like Dateline, 48 Hours, and 20/20. NatGeo, Discovery, and History Channel are my favorites and what I watch the most.

Is this the Kleenex commercial? I hadn't seen it before I searched just now:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LVCooIjlWQ

There are some very clever ad writers out there. The commercial has me so involved, I totally miss what the product is! Not, perhaps, what the "client" wants, but so creative and enjoyable!

Yup - that's it. Thanks Sandie. There is another version too, but basically the same.

I looked for it, but not far enough I guess.
