I thought of Catherinedana and voted for this project today:
    http://www.refresheverything.com/hroff

This group is in Cudahy, Wisconsin which is up near Milwaukee and their goal is: "To provide short term relief and assistance in severe parrot rescue cases by providing the fundamental needs of parrots." Works for me! Catherinedana, could you please give your beautiful birds a nice talking-to, or a gentle pet, or a delicious healthy treat for me today?

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

MoonandBean, what does it mean when a certain project doesn't have a button to vote for it? There are a few that we were voting for in September that I wanted to vote for again, but they don't have a place to click. For some reason I can't find the projects you identified as easily as I could last month. (The keeshond one, for example) I will keep trying, though. October is only 7 days old

    Thank you,
    Elyse

    Dear PT,

If you have an extra vote, please vote for this organization that is helping visually impaired, FIV(+) and FELV(+) kitties.

Elyse, If projects didn't place in the top 100, they don't roll over to the next month. Also, they only get 4 months so Keeshond is out of chances. Only projects with vote buttons are in this months contest. I will post a new list of groups that are active and have good chances of winning (and a few longshots that I love and maybe can do better next month)

Here's a good list...it's not all inclusive (it's hard to get them all on one page but you can click "load more" on the bottom of the page to see more or search seperately for certain projects)

Please vote for this project if you have an extra vote. Adaptive sports programs are so beneficial to people with disabilities.

Don't forget to vote on the Animal Rescue Site shelter voting, too

I'm pasting this request from another thread to help me remember what project to look for, and so others can vote for it.

Edited to add: I found it! Just type in dup15q!

My mom is working with some other people at www.dup15q.org to raise funds through the Pepsi Refresh Project in order to fund a conference so parents can learn more about this disorder and what is being done as far as treatment research.

The link to where to vote is on the dup15 page. Thank you for your votes!
