This is the first time I've read this. Its so sad. If all that kid had was a little scratch where the bandaid is, that dog was controlling himself. That was not an aggressive bite. He never should have been put down. I hope you call all local shelters you can and have these people put on a no adopt list for life.

Thank you for your words and it was a nice gash in his cheek it was sewn up with liquid glue and he had stitches in his nostril, it was a controlled bite and I have let everyone I know not to let htem have a dog again, *shrugs*

Those.... animal murderes had a dog put down!!? UGH!!!! it wasn't THAT bad of a bite! I mean my neighbour's pit bull bit his arm almost off and they did not Put him to sleep!! This makes me so mad and sad!

R.I.P. poor Scooby. You will be missed. Such a gorgeous dog you were.
