    Need some prayers....

    Hi everyone,
I have a very good friend who also happens to be a classmate of mine. I got a text from her earlier today that she is on the battle roster to be deployed to Afghanistan. She is 30 years old, has a severely epileptic dog, an awesome sister, a 5 year old nephew, and many friends including myself who do not want her to have to go. She is my best friend, I've never had a friend like her, she's awesome! We are starting 4th term of our Veterinary Technology program, and right now we have a week off. I am in southern California right now for our week off, and I wish I could be at home right now to be with her during this difficult time.
PLEASE PLEASE pray that she DOES NOT have to go, and that she gets pulled from the battle roster! Ugh this is killing me.:

Thanks everyone, I love you guys.

Rather than praying for her not to have to go, I'm gonna send a prayer that she stays safe wherever she ends up going. Hope that's okay with you, the people in the military know that may happen when they join up, and it is their sacrifice that the rest of us take for granted.

Yeah that's fine. She just does not want to go. She's almost done, about 6 or so more months, then she is DONE. I hate this.

I am so sorry to hear this news, but Karen is right. Here's hoping she is taken off or that she will be safe. Try not to worry too much about it, because there really is nothing you can do. (((hugs)))

I agree with Karen as well and I hope that where ever she ends up she will be safe.

I pray for her whether she goes or not. I also pray for her doggie with epilepsy as I had a dog with epilepsy once and I took it with me everywhere I could and had noone who would take care of it besides the vet and they had cement floor kennels.

Prayers for your friend that she stays safe no matter what. My nephew deploys to Afghanistan with the Canadian armed forces on May 1, however is in the reserves and volunteered for active duty. Prayers going out for both of them.

    Prayers for your friend's safety.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
